1. What inspired Silah?
Silah was born in the Andamans, during our open water dive certification. We came back wanting jewelry that actually meant something — that captured the feeling of being underwater, on a summit, or mid-trail. When we couldn't find it, we made it. Every piece is designed for people who actually go outside and want to carry their adventures with them.
2. Who are your collections for?
Anyone who finds meaning outdoors. The Dubki collection is for ocean lovers — divers, snorkelers, surfers, and open-water swimmers. The Chadhai collection is for mountain people — climbers, trekkers, and anyone who feels most alive at altitude. If you've ever looked at a view and felt something shift inside you, this brand is for you.
3. What materials do you use?
All Silah jewelry is crafted from pure 925 hallmarked sterling silver — 92.5% silver, hypoallergenic, and durable enough for real adventure. Every piece is then rhodium-plated, which adds a hard, protective layer that resists tarnishing and holds up against water, sweat, and the outdoors.
4. Wait — does real silver tarnish?
Yes, and that's actually proof it's real. Sterling silver contains copper, which reacts with air and moisture over time to create a dark layer — that's tarnish, and it only happens with genuine silver. Cheap plated metals don't tarnish the same way.
The rhodium polish we apply significantly slows this down, but with heavy use or prolonged exposure to saltwater or chlorine, some dulling can appear over time. The fix is simple: a gentle wipe with a soft dry cloth handles most of it. For deeper cleaning, mild soap + lukewarm water + a soft toothbrush, then rinse and dry fully. Your piece will look as good as new.
5. How do I care for my Silah piece?
Built for adventures, not the shelf — but a little care goes a long way:
Do: Rinse with fresh water after ocean or pool swims · Pat dry with a soft cloth · Store in the pouch or box when not wearing
Avoid: Perfume, sunscreen & harsh soaps directly on the piece · Prolonged soaking in chlorine or saltwater · Abrasive scrubbing
For a deeper clean: mild soap + lukewarm water + soft toothbrush. Rinse well and dry fully before storing. With basic care, your piece stays bright through every dive, every climb, every story.
6. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Delivery within India takes 5–10 business days. International delivery times vary by destination — you'll receive tracking once your order ships.
7. What's your return policy?
